The renewal process involves submitting Form I-821D and Form I-765 again, along with proof that you continue to meet the eligibility requirements such as:

  • Continuous residence in the United States
  • No Criminal Records
  • Education records
  • Current Status of DACA
The US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) is currently accepting first- time requests for consideration but is not required to act upon them

DACA holders can renew their status and receive benefits under the program, including Advance Parole authorization to travel

One-year grants of deferred action under DACA can be extended to two years by the USCIS and one-year employment authorization documents can be extended to two years by the USCIS
